What I collect and why

When you send the contact form I store:

• what you enter: name, email address, company, message and budget range
• your browser identifier, language setting and the page the form was sent from (address and path only)
• an encrypted identifier computed from your IP address. The IP address itself is not stored.

I use this to answer your message and to recognise and block spam and abuse. The basis for processing is legitimate interest: answering enquiries and protecting the site.

Retention

Contact details are deleted after 12 months unless a working relationship requires keeping them longer.

Who receives the data

The site runs on a Hetzner server in Helsinki. A notification of your message is delivered to me through the email service Resend. Resend is a US provider, so the email may travel outside the EU. Data is not sold or used for marketing.

The booking link leads to Calendly, whose privacy policy applies there.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no cookies, tracking or analytics. Your theme choice (light or dark) is kept only in your browser's local storage (localStorage).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, and to restrict or object to its processing. If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
